Costa Smeralda
In 1961 the Aga Khan and some of his good friends purchased a strip of stunning Sardinian coastline from some locals farmers who were struggling to support their families. The name came from the clean, green water and glittering grottos and coves. Since then, the resort has grown to become a summertime vacation destination for Italy's rich and famous. |
