Museo Nazionale Sanna It is difficult to pinpoint exactly when each of Sardinia's 9,000 Nuraghes, round, stone towers of uncertain purpose, were built, but it is supposed that most were erected during the Bronze Age, from the 18th to 15th centuries BC. Parts of some date back even farther, making the some of the monuments well on their way to 4,000 years old. The Museo Nazionale Sanna houses priceless information and artifacts from this mysterious period and its people. Address: Via Roma, 64 Sassari SS Italy
